The start of the trail is not marked at all, we had to look on Google Maps to see where the trail hits the road and looked there. Nice views of the town and bay. Needs a sign at gateway.

Steep but easy walk, can be done with kids aged between 5 - 10. Worth the view.

Bit tough getting up but the view is worth it. Just beautiful.

Bit of a walk but worth the effort for the view. Informative plaques relating to the towns history.

If you're staying in Bicheno it is most definitely worth the look! There are views of the Gulch, town, Beach and bay from the top. The walk up wasn't step and the circuit at the top had only a gradual climb. The lookouts had informative plaques of the town history and culture. Make sure you go to the right car park or you'll end up in a backyard.
